STOVE TOP GRANOLA
Makes: 3 1/2 Cups (10 Small Samples) servings
Time: 20 Minutes
- 1-2 Tablespoons Coconut oil
- 1 Tablespoon Grass-Fed Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 3 Tablespoons 100% Maple Syrup
- 2 Cups Rolled Oats
- 1/4 Cup Walnuts or Pecans, chopped
- 1/4 Cup Sliced Almonds
- 1/4 Cup Sunflower Seeds
- A Few Dashes of Cinnamon
- Pinch of Kosher Salt
- 1/4 Cup Shredded Coconut
- 1/4 Cup Dried Fruit
- Optional: 1 Tbsp. wheat germ or flax seed added to dry ingredients
In a large mixing bowl add in oats, walnuts or pecans, almonds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, salt & coconut. Gently toss until everything is well incorporated.
Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat and melt coconut oil, butter, vanilla, and maple syrup.
Pour mixed dry ingredients into saute pan and cook for 8-10 minutes, continuously stirring, until oats and nuts are toasty and golden brown.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Finish by stirring in dried fruit.
Store in an airtight container or small zip lock bags.
Makes 3 1/2 cups.
