HAM AND BROCCOLI QUICHE
Makes: 12 servings
Time: 1 Hour
- 1 Baked Whole Wheat Pie Crust (store-bought or homemade) Or 12 Tart Shells
- 1 1/2 Cup Ham, cubed (Preservative Free) or vegetarian alternative or no meat at all)
- 1 1/2 Cup Swiss Cheese, shredded
- 1 Cup Broccoli, chopped
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Cup Milk or Soy Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dry Ground Mustard
Bake pie crust according to package directions.
Layer ham, cheese, and broccoli on pie shell or tart shells. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and milk, and then stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour over broccoli. Bake pie for 30-40 minutes at 375 degrees or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5-10 minutes.
Tarts will bake for approximately 20-25 minutes.
