Hippity Hop Pear Salad

Makes: 1 servings

Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 A Pear, canned in its own juice
  •   Handful of Broccoli Slaw
  • 2 Dried Apricots
  • 3 Dried Cranberries
  •   Real Whipped Cream (real or can)
  •   Toothpicks
  •   Yogurt Covered Almonds or Raisins – Assorted Colors

Directions

Place handful of broccoli straw on plate.

Top with pear half.

Using clean scissors, cut apricots into bunny ear shapes.

Affix to pear using toothpicks.

Press cranberries into pear for eyes and nose.

Use half toothpicks to make whiskers.

Make a whipped cream tail.

Decorate plate with assorted colored yogurt covered almonds or raisins.

*Warning: Toothpicks can be a choking hazard. REMOVE ALL TOOTHPICKS PRIOR TO EATING. Be especially cautious with young children and toddlers. Alternatively, whiskers can be drawn on with black or brown icing gel or by trimming black twizzlers to be used instead of toothpicks. Dry spaghetti pieces may also work to affix ears, but are still brittle and need to be used with caution.
