SOUTHERN “UNFRIED” SKINLESS CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

SOUTHERN “UNFRIED” SKINLESS CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

Makes: 6 servings

Time: 40-60 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 Chicken Drumsticks, skin removed
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Eggs, whisked in bowl with 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese, shredded
  • Butter Non-Stick Spray

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Using a paper towel, remove skin from drumsticks.  Wash and pat dry drumsticks and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.

Place flour in one large ziplock bag, and breadcrumbs, garlic, and Parmesan in another.

Shake drumsticks one at a time first through flour, then eggs, and then breadcrumb mixture.

Place in a sprayed metal rectangular pan or baking sheet.

Spray each chicken leg with non-stick butter cooking spray.

Bake 350° for approximately 35-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 180° and the outside is golden brown.

*Note this recipe can be easily doubled. This recipe can be popped in the oven as the Easy Broccoli Bake Casserole and cooked at the same time.
