ASIAN TURKEY LETTUCE WRAPS

Your kids will love the authentic Asian flavor and you’ll love the crisp lettuce wrappers and healthier ingredients that make up this delightful dish.

Makes: 6-8 (12-16 Samples) servings

Time: 20-25 Minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 1Teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1Pound Lean Organic Ground Turkey
  • 1Celery Stalk, chopped
  • 1Medium Carrot, shredded
  • 1/2Onion, chopped finely
  • 1Tablespoon Fresh Ginger, minced
  • 1Garlic Clove, Minced
  • 1Head iceburg or Boston lettuce leaves cleaned and removed from stem
  • 3Tablespoons Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2Packets Stevia
  • 2Teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • 2Teaspoons Thai Chili Sauce

Directions

In a medium non-stick pan, saute turkey, veggies, ginger, and garlic in olive oil until meat in no longer pink and veggies are softened.

Meanwhile, mix sauce ingredients in a small cup or bowl.

Pour sauce over cooked mixture and turn to coat.

Serve in lettuce leaves and wrap to form a roll.

May be dipped extra soy sauce when serving.

Makes 6 – 8 lettuce wraps.
